The former fishing village of Kolhorn is picturesquely situated behind the dike. This picturesque village is quite rightly now a Nationally Protected Village View: fairytale gardens, lovely houses and beautiful views. There is certainly no lack of luxury and comfort in this bed & breakfast. The owners have stylishly renovated this farmhouse from 1906 so that you will lack nothing during your stay near the Dutch coastline.

Layout Bed & Breakfast

The Kolhornse Parel is a mix of rural elegance and a touch of French charm. The perfect balance if you ask us! The spacious guesthouse has its own entrance and upon entering you are immediately surprised by the playful layout. The intimate living room adjacent to the comfortable double room is perfect for a little nightcap. The modern bathroom has a rain shower, toilet and wonderful care products from Marie-Stella-Maris. The surprise lies in the spacious garden room. Here you can start in the morning with a delicious fresh breakfast or in the evening you can open the garden doors and read that last chapter under the chestnut tree while enjoying a good glass of wine.

Surroundings

Cyclists and walkers can indulge themselves here. Kolhorn is known for being the ideal starting point or resting point for numerous cycling and walking routes. The cozy market town of Schagen with its many restaurants and shops is less than a 10-minute drive away. Would you like to enjoy the sea air? There are several fine sandy beaches within driving distance of the B&B, including Callantsoog, Petten, Camperduin and Hargen aan Zee. Anyone visiting Kolhorn in the summer should not miss the three night markets. And would you like to experience how the fishermen of the past sailed across the former Zuiderzee? Then take a boat trip in the original Langedijker Rondkont.
